Training that encompasses innovative research methodologies and topics is an important part of our mission and vision at CEMarin.

We strive to train postgraduate researchers with the ability to become renowned members of the international scientific community and active ambassadors for marine ecosystems, as well as enabling encounters between researchers at all stages of their careers. We seek to build spaces that bring together and build networks between researchers at different stages of their careers, decision-makers and coastal communities.

Our innovative training offering includes the following projects in collaboration with other national and international leaders in the marine sciences.

We organize and support international field schools and workshops in which we address emerging research topics and theoretical and applied problems in marine sciences. These training events can include field work, keynote lectures and discussions with attendees, with the participation of local, national and international experts and students.
