Innovation is crucial in today’s world, but the topic is often debated and misunderstood. Sonar Issue 3 explores not only what innovation signifies in different contexts, but also what it means in practice, promoting dialogues between researchers and other actors, including marine-coastal communities in order to take advantage of technological advances in a timely and accessible way, and to ensure efficient and effective impacts for our oceans and societies.
